Landslide derails train in Italy leaving nine dead

A landslide has derailed a train in north-eastern Italy, killing at least nine people and injuring about 30. The accident occurred in a mountain valley near the winter sports town of Merano, close to the Austrian border. Trees prevented the train plunging into a river. Officials say the landslide may have been caused by a leaking water pipe further up the hillside. The authorities say the mass of water, mud and rock came without warning, burying the regional train as it passed through the alpine valley. Nine people were killed. The train driver is understood to be among the dead. The most seriously injured have been taken by helicopter to nearby hospitals.

My opinion

I think it's really something that has happened. There was no report received. It is really that there are 9 deaths. I am glad that the train fell into the river and that it was stopped by a few trees. On the internet there is a site where you can watch a movie about the train. You see on the movie the train completely in ruins around it all light and light mud. I hope that more deaths will not fall because there were also many wounded. I hope this does not happen again.

Hamburgers is the famous food in America.

A hamburger is not made of ham but of ground-up beef, shaped into a patty, which is then grilled and placed between the two halves of a sesame seed bun. In giant feedlots up to 100,000 cattle eat grain from concrete troughs, along with a cocktail of anabolic steroids and growth hormones. According to a recent study by the US Department of Agriculture, these crowded conditions are a breeding ground for infectious diseases. Many feedlots are owned or controlled by the four giant meatpacking firms that slaughter 84% of the USA’s cattle. Eric Schlosser do the dirty and dangerous job of Meatpacking who investigated slaughter houses for His book Fast Food Nation. The meat in a single fast food hamburger could come from dozens, or even hundreds of cows.

My opinion

I eat a burger now and then so am not a vegetarian but I did not know how the cows were brought to life. If you buy a hamburger, you never know of course whether this cow has had a good life but now I also know that hundreds of cows can sit in a hamburger. I self prefer to eat meat that has had a good life but in the Mac Donald, you can not see if the burger you're going to eat this one has had good life. I think animals should be given more freedom before they are killed and not kept in small cages.

Siddhartha's searched for a way to escape the inevitability of death, old age and pain. Siddhartha finally achieved Enlightenment and became the Buddha.

My opinion

The piece was about Buddhism. I have chosen this piece because I actually knew almost nothing since. I find it very interesting piece. I understand now where Buddha comes from and what it means for religion Buddhism. In my own Buddha statues is nice but I never knew its significance. Now I know that it all turns to Siddhartha Gautama. This piece was not really about Buddhism itself but more about the Buddha. I do not myself believe in Buddhism. I do believe in God.
