The government is particularly concerned by the residents of the Nuns Valley - an isolated mountainous region that rescue workers have been unable to reach.
There is no danger of a repeat of the flash flood.
My opinion
I’m so sorry for the people who live there. Everything is taken away by the flood and I think that is takes a long time till everything is back to normal. On the internet there is a site where you can watch a movie about the rainstorm.
You can see on the movie, cars taken away by the flush and trees being damaged. It’s also a big problem for the tourisme. Many people who have planet to go to Madeira for a holiday will probably go somewhere else. I hope that there will be help and everything will built up soon.
